Conciliator

Please note this position is a field position and does not report to any of our Regional Offices.

This is a 12 month limited term position with the possibility of being extend to 24 months or becoming permanent.

Under the general direction of the Director of State Mediation and Conciliation Service Division, performs mediation work related to labor-management contract and workplace disputes, supervises representation and other elections, provides training and facilitation, and performs other duties at client locations throughout the State, as assigned.

Department Information

The Public Employment Relations Board is a quasi-judicial administrative agency charged with administering the collective bargaining statutes covering employees of California's public schools, colleges, and universities, employees of the State of California, employees of California local public agencies (cities, counties and special districts), trial court employees and supervisory employees of the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
