The Express Technician supports the service department by performing routine vehicle maintenance and light repair services efficiently, safely, and professionally. These values should resonate with you to be successful.Job Description:**Vehicle Maintenance & Repair*** Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, battery testing, filter replacements, and multi-point inspections.* Complete assigned services accurately and efficiently in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and dealership standards.* Inspect vehicles for additional maintenance or repair needs and communicate findings appropriately.* Assist with basic repair and maintenance services as assigned by dealership leadership.* Conduct quality checks to help ensure services are completed properly and safely.**Operational Excellence*** Maintain productivity and efficiency standards established by dealership leadership.* Accurately document completed work and inspection findings on repair orders.* Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, tools, and service areas.* Follow all dealership, manufacturer, and safety procedures.* Properly handle customer and dealership vehicles throughout the service process.**Team Support & Development*** Collaborate effectively with Service Advisors, technicians, and leadership to support operational success and customer satisfaction.* Participate in training and development opportunities to expand technical knowledge and skills.* Support a positive, team-oriented service department culture.* Assist with additional operational tasks as assigned.**Professional Standards*** Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong attendance record.* Support dealership standards related to professionalism, safety, compliance, and customer care.* Handle customer interactions professionally when needed within the service environment.Purdy Benefits:* Competitive Compensation* Medical, Dental, & Vision insurance plans* 401(k) with company-match* Paid-time-off (PTO)## QualificationsQualifications:* High school diploma or equivalent required.* Previous automotive maintenance, technical training, or related experience preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.* Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
