We are looking for a Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to provide hands-on technical support for employees in Joliet, Illinois. This is a Contract position focused on delivering responsive day-to-day assistance across desktop, account access, and end-user technology needs. The ideal candidate brings a service-oriented approach, communicates clearly with users, and is comfortable resolving common support issues in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Deliver daily technical support for employees, including account access assistance, password updates, workstation preparation for new hires, and offboarding support.
• Configure and support end-user hardware and software, with a focus on Apple devices and common Microsoft applications and services.
• Assist users with Office 365, SharePoint, and OneDrive issues by identifying problems, guiding solutions, and escalating when necessary.
• Manage basic access requests by granting or removing permissions to sites and shared resources as needed.
• Carry out entry-level Active Directory support tasks, primarily related to user credential resets and account assistance.
• Provide in-person support during higher-volume walk-up periods, especially from Tuesday through Thursday, while maintaining a positive customer experience.
• Respond to service desk requests efficiently, document troubleshooting steps, and help ensure timely resolution of recurring technical issues.• 2–3 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, help desk, or another customer-facing technical environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to support users professionally in person and through ticket-based requests.
• Experience providing direct end-user assistance in an on-site support setting.
• Working knowledge of Apple devices and Microsoft technologies, including Office 365, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Familiarity with basic Active Directory administration, especially password-related support tasks.
• Understanding of Windows environments, including Windows 10 and general desktop troubleshooting.
• Ability to manage multiple support requests while maintaining attention to detail and service quality.
