Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Location: Lincoln, NE

Job Type: Part-Time with Potential to Transition to Full-Time

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing behavioral health team in Lincoln, Nebraska.

This is an excellent opportunity for a psychiatric NP seeking a flexible part-time position with the potential to transition into a full-time role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and comprehensive mental health assessments.
\n
• Diagnose and treat a variety of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions.
\n
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
\n
• Provide psychiatric medication management and monitor treatment response.
\n
• Provide ongoing patient follow-up and psychiatric care.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
\n
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
\n
• Support evidence-based psychiatric and behavioral health practices.
\n

Qualifications

\n
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing.
\n
• Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification.
\n
• Active Nebraska Nurse Practitioner license or eligibility to obtain one.
\n
• Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one.
\n
• Experience in psychiatry, behavioral health, or mental health services preferred.
\n
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and decision-making skills.
\n
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a clinical team.
\n
